Karen Amend is the new Marketing Director for the Centennial Barn. She brings years of health care marketing experience with her.

Marci Peebles, the new Director for Franciscans for the Poor, has been working in various ministries for over 15 years. She brings expertise as well as her zest for life!

Ruthy Trusler is the new Lay Vocational Facilitator for the US Area. With extensive experience in communications, Ruthy will bring new skills, as well as her enthusiasm!

Dan Haveron, OFM's greatest dream was to be a missionary among the poor - a dream that has been realized in many different places and cultures. He has two graduate degrees in Theology and one in Journalism, a background that suits him well as he pursues a ministry of preaching an conducting retreats in the US and Canada. Currently, Fr. Dan is participating in the Amazon Project with Franciscans throughout the Americas. They are exploring mission and resources for the Amazon River region, seeking to animate friars and sisters toward environmental awareness in the Americas. Siddharta Gotama, who was the Buddha (the Enlightened One), was born around 2500 years ago. Throughout his life, he taught about loving kindness and compassion. What was he enlightened about? How can his method of meditation be helpful today to heal suffering and make us more peaceful and compassionate? Come experience a Buddhist meditation.
Presenter: Brennan Hill, Ph.D., is married to Marie Hill, a marriage counselor and mediator. They have two grown children and three grand girls. Brennan studied at St. Bonaventure University, Cahtolic University of America, Cambridge, and Marquette University. He taught high school, college and adults for 45 years and is now Professor Emeritus at Xavier University. He has published 24 books and is now working on text for McGraw-Hill on Discovering World Religions: Their Connect with Ecology, Peace and Women's Issues. The weekend begins with a light supper between 6:30p.m. and 7:00p.m. on Friday and ends on Sunday after the 10:30a.m. Liturgical Celebration at the Parish.

If a whole day is not possible for you, please come for a day of prayer in preparation for the Lenten Season. Starts aboaut 9:30a.m. with coffee and a welcome and ends about 3:30p.m. Silence is requested so we may be open to God speaking to us and we to Him.
Bring a friend or someone interested in spending a special day with God and others. Sisters, associates and friends are welcome.
